She earned a Master of Arts in Journalism and an Honours Bachelor degree in Information and Media Studies and English Language and Literature from The University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. During her journalism program, she completed two internships with the Canadian Broadcasting Centre at As It Happens with CBC Radio and at the CBC Foreign Bureau in London, England. She has also completed a Culinary Arts course at George Brown College in Toronto, Ontario.
Currently, she works as a Client Services Supervisor for ICUC.Social. She has previously worked as a Freelance Writer for SEOTwist.com. Before that, she worked as a Data/Content Specialist for thehealthline.ca Information Network in London, Ontario where she produced online content for SouthWesthealthline, CaregiverExchange.ca and Information London.
